When I stood for election as Member of Parliament for Burton & Uttoxeter, I promised I would be a strong voice for those who have been a victim of domestic abuse.

This week at Justice Questions I asked ministers whether it was right that victims of domestic abuse can end up in a situation of paying the financial costs for their abuser to have child contact sessions.

Following this session, I had a positive meeting with the Secretary of State and I will continue to follow this matter up with the Ministry of Justice.
